There has been a dental practice in Redburn Wynd since 1957.
In 1985 it became Harper Bell & Partners and, in 2019, rebranded as Redburn Dental to coincide with renovation of the building.
The whole practice is fully computerised (including digital radiography), allowing quick and easy access to records and X-rays. This is both very efficient and accurate and helps add to patient safety.
The partnership is always looking to improve the practice environment and has recently completed a major equipment refurbishment. This not only makes for a state of the art working practice but ensures we at all times comply with ever changing regulations. We also invested in a purpose built decontamination facility which more than complies with new guidelines and ensures all equipment and instruments are sterilised to the most exacting standards.
Our philosophy has always been to provide quality family dental care covering advice for toddlers to full dentures for our older clients. That said, it is now the aim to have "teeth for life" and we have many patients in their 80's or older having crowns or other treatments undertaken. Younger patients are given toothbrush instruction to help emphasise the benefits of good oral hygiene and regular visits to the dentist. Many of our patients are second or third generation so we must be doing something right!
